I heard on the radio this morning that Shearer won't rule out coming in and saving Newcastle when the new owners come in. I would so be up for that!

Just read about the Spanish wanting to play England in Madrid. Good on the FA for basically saying 'no' and looking at other venues. What happened last time was dispicable and should never happen in this day and age.

I don't think there is too much surprise as to who I think is a proper legend. This guy was quite a player and some manager as well. I miss him on Tyneside

I really think we'll get it. It'll be Europe's turn and we haven't had it since '66. We are a major nation and think it's our time. I wonder what grounds will be used?

I think he's served his time so he should be allowed to carry on with his life. People are getting far too pent up about him!
