UEFA have named their 23 man squad of the tournament and have named Xavi as the star man. What do we all think? First thing I noticed was that only two dutch players made the squad!

Surprised Lahm made it as he was a defensive liability. Otherwise no-one really stands out as a surprise.

From that XXIII I'd put together for the best XI:

Modric
Xavi
Febregas

Sneijder
Villa
Arshavin

Although im not nessersarily disagreeing with Cesc Fabregas' inclusion, but he did only start one game and played 352 minutes of a possible 540.

Can he make such a big impact, to be named in the Top 23 players in the competition, having played only slightly more than half the time his team played?

Personaly I think he did, but just throwing that out there to see what people think!
