I read this morning that Arsene wanted Arshavin but wouldn't give him stupid wages therefore the deal didn't go through. Good on Arsene I say - the player has had what - one good season. He is 27 years-old and still only in the Russian league.

He isn't a superstar so shouldn't get paid like one.
