I'd prefer this page with the actual post on it to be full width I think the side bad is ok on other pages but once I am in the content page I don't want too many distractions.

Any chance you guys can try this? It's a great looking forum otherwise, I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.

New front page is much better guys I like the fact it is more dedicated to what's going on right now rather than the just the guide.
