I know he played his prime in the SPL but I think Henrik Larsson is one of the greatest. He dominated the league for 5 years even though he broke his leg early on. I would have loved to see him play in Italy or Spain earlier in his career.

As for THE greatest, Johan Cruyff was just wonderful to watch. He was the player that attracted me to the game while he spent a short time playing in the US.

One of the problems with comparing players is that there are so many leagues that play various styles and various quality.
