Looks like O'Neill is doing his best to get the deal he wants or to buy time to convince Barry to stay. Odds are still that Barry will damage his career and end up at The Kop.

Barry will almost certainly be at Liverpool. The only question surely is price?

According to Martin O'Neill last night Gareth Barry has made it clear he wants to leave but Villa have a price in mind. If Liverpool reach this valuation then he'll be a Liverpool player.

Looks like they are demanding £18m for him - not worth that in my opinion but what do I know?
